This stick was $40 cheaper last night when it was linked in the fightstick thread. What the fuck happened?

I've got the HRAP v4 (not the Kai version), and I'd says it is probably worth it, if you like the Hori buttons, or don't care much about the buttons. I wouldn't say they're bad, but they're certainly not for me.
I'm fortunate enough to have already had some spare seimitsu buttons lying around, because I hated the Hori buttons. The hayabusa stick, on the other hand, is fantastic.
I think there is also a v5 out now, but I don't know what is different about it.

I'd pick one of those up if they were the same price because I think it looks nicer, I don't really dig that gap in the middle front of the case.
Also I don't care about the parts because I'm swapping everything out for seimitsu anyways, unless maybe it'd be harder to resell a set of hori parts than sanwa parts
I ordered the chun li madcatz. I was going to wait for the the TE s+, But I want some time to get use to the stick before SF5. I'm going to change the side panels tho. It's a little too blue.

They're not great. The Shadaloo TES+ is where it's at. But, I'm sure Madcatz is going to milk SF5 forever. They will probably come out with the TE3 around 2016-17.

still using this ancient aztec piece of technology, for pc anyways, otherwise i just use a friends stick, plan on getting a new stick when sfv drops, looking at the fighting edge or the q4 i really love the design of the fighting edge but i dont know if its worth the cost compared to other sticks

It's basically the same as the Street 4 SE. It works, but you'll need to mod it if you're going to use it past your 360.
