I remember wanting to get my first console, a PS1, to get 40 winks because I saw it in EGM and I thought it looked cool. The guy at the Wiz talked me and my mom out of it because their were better games for 5 year olds on the N64. So, I never got to PS1 ever. In exchange I became a nintendo fan boy for most of my life. I grew up on N64 over psx as well, when I finally got around to playing some games, I wasn't missing too much outside of maybe Crash Team Racing.
This game remains one of my favorites I still play it to this day.

I never had a ps1 when it was new, but chrono cross, parasite eve, jade cocoon, MGS, crash bandicoot, etc. etc.
PS1 had an insane library but I never enjoyed dealing with multiple memory cards and discs and the load times, etc.
But it had some damn good shit on it.

But yeah the above guy is right, quotes are used out of context like that all the time. You can quite literally take the phrase from a review "This game is horrible in a truly amazing way" and print it as "... Truly amazing..." - game review spot.
