Silent Hill Origins, one of the Syphon Filters, or one of the Street Fighters. Not sure about Valkyrie Profile 2 because I haven't played it. Avoid Tales of the Abyss like the plague. It's arguably the worst game in the series, and anyone who says otherwise is just trying to trick you.

the lightning engine shits itself and makes the game way too dark in many spots. The visual "upgrades" are also a bit dodgy at times.
Overall, the Origins is a shitty game, that also totally rapes SH1's (and thus the entire series') lore.

The PS2 version is just horrible. The engine shits the bed right out of the gate and the shadows are beyond fucked. It also gets really spotty in regards to frame rate in some places.
PSP is far superior.I still play it
