If you just want the base game then there shouldn't be any difference as far as I know, as all versions of Hundred Knight Revival include the english text and audio as well as the Japanese, including the JP release itself.
Personally I'm waiting for the western release since I didn't have the dosh when the JP version came out, and I'm getting the limited edition for Revival (pic related).
If you haven't, you should play the demo that's on the JP store. Includes the prologue and Chapter 1 Part 1, which is at least an hour or two of gameplay.

I own a PS4, use it regularly and enjoy it thoroughly. I like some of the exclusives, but there's also some non-exclusive games I like on it too. Those games do have worth to me too regardless of exclusivity. And the total amount of games I have on it is more than enough to satisfy me. So for me it is worthwhile. But I'm not saying that as if it applies to everyone. It's just my opinion.

I've had a good amount of fun with DriveClub, man. Not really into it as much as I was with Motorstorm but I'm enjoying it.
Enjoyed Killzone personally but not something I'm gonna go back to.
Infamous Second Son and First Light were awesome IMO. Bit short compared to the other games in the series, but the combat was also a lot faster. I'm a big fan of the series and really liked SS, so I definitely care about it.
Onechanbara Z2 I got cause it was cheap and trashy action and it pulls that off pretty great. Gonna go back to it to do the missions too.
Tearaway Unfolded I'm still playing but it's great so far. Slow and a bit easy, but the mood is great.
Haven't played Until Dawn, The Order, Omega or Knack, but I definitely care about the ones I mentioned above.
