It felt rehashed and the areas were dull. But with NEMESIS! Here's Jill back again on a forgettable entry of the series. Except here's NEMESIS! That's really all it had going for it.

Code Veronica felt like it actually had some thought put into it. 3 was more like "ugh, I guess we have to make ANOTHER Resident Evil game".

Better than 5+, but still.

Not really. Coincidentally their status as side game and main entry was supposed to be reversed, so Nemesis ends up feeling really experimental, arguably for better or worse depending on one's preference, while CV feels much more in line with RE1/2, making it a safe but reliable entry. Really depends on how ambitious you're feeling at the moment I guess but I liked both equally.
