CCP's designers complete shit as per usual. Why you'd decide to stick the guns there right next to the pilot I don't know but why the fuck are they flashing so much in the vacuum of space?

ALL of their visual effects are way overblown and ridiculous, not to mention the fucking SPACE behind everything is glowing and annoying to concentrate with.

As far as arcadey shooters go, you have to go fast or it's not worth it. If you want arcade space games try something like Strike Vector where you go crazy. Or basically do Ace Combat but with crazy inertia.

Not him, but I've done the same. OR version looks better because AA coverage and higher fidelity graphics. PS4 loses a ton of image quality to get it running and makes it look like a mobile game while on PC it looks like an actual AAA videogame

The PSVR version was running at a lower resolution as well and the scaling was really obvious (Holy shit the lack of AA is criminal). If you want VR games that look console quality or better. Get OR or Vive. If you don't mind indie titles that are mobile quality or really downgraded console games (Whoever at Sony said PS3 fidelity was high, it's more PS2) get a PSVR.

the number of pixels doesn't really affect the 'screendoor effect'. it's the space between the pixels that's the problem. unless you want a 4k tv strapped to your head with a big tunnel to block out your peripherals the screen door is going nowhere until tech advances

Supposedly it's counteracted with high quality lenses and more subpixels, but you'd have to ask someone's who's actually used it about the visuals. SDE isn't really a big deal in VR though, if the content is good enough you stop giving a shit about pixels.

Screen door is actually well managed. The newest one is actually better than the Vive Devkits as far as screen door goes. However,it uses a diffuser so it's slightly blurrier and aliasing is really, really noticable.

Sure, but bad voice acting is one of this things that really sticks out to me. The system voice design is pretty good but I think someone didn't realise that there's something very informal about that accent that doesn't really work, at least for me. It would be like having a hillbilly voice.

Depends on how bad it is. I do ok without my glasses, but some people need them. You can use glasses in the headsets, but if you can avoid it, you should, because you lose FOV with glasses.
