It's only comfy because it's constantly stressful. Once you hit a smooth patch, it's nice.
>>319656126
True, i like to play it safe and always have more than enough resources, might be why i find it comfy. dual-screen with selfsustaining village on one and /v/ on the other is pretty nice
>>319655861
Does this look good to people? I get irked unless my town is set out like communist block housing.
comfy
>>319654678
The whole tutorial island of Kingdom Hearts was bretty comfy. It was the first time I ever played KH and then when I got to that town levelI immediately switched the game off because a character from Final Fantasy 8 popped up, and being as I've never played a FF game I refused to keep playing until I had beaten the first 8 FF games so I'm up to speed with the story.
>>319657264
same, just grabbed a screen from google. I have to have perfect symmetry and 90 degree corners
that soundtrack though
As much as people hate on Skyrim, it can be pretty comfy.
>>319658387
I'd say that Oblivion is comfier.
>>319657880
>spoiler
Subpar bait. I knew the FF series consisted of disconnected standalone stories long before I played any of them.
>>319658973
So do I but you still have to play the series in order to appreciate the evolution of the gameplay faggot.

hello again reddit
I'm one of these DS1 fans that was massively disappointed by DS2, but holy fuck, Majula is one of the comfiest video game areas I've ever been in.
PC games can't be comfy unless you are playing with a controller.
>>319662436
I think you're wrong
>>319662436
Not sure is this bait or sonyniggers actually think that.
Little Inferno
>>319655084
I know a lot of people get butthurt about this game but I don't get how anyone can hear this and not think it's comfy
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z6LmMCuGjfA
>>319661843
Sure it was disappointing. It still had plenty of good in it though.
I'm going to get a lot of disagreement because it's such a stressful game. It IS my comfort zone. Majora's mask.
I think Shenmue and Yakuza are both really good games to just relax and unwind. You can just go around town, collect little trinkets out of those machines that I forget the name of, play space harrier or boxcellios or taiko drum master, maybe do some karaoke, feed a cat, and just generally unwind.
>>319663393
MM isn't that stressful if you use inverted time and just take every loop as it comes rather than trying to rush through the game.
I mean you only need to do a dungeon once after all, once you complete it you can warp straight to the boss in later loops.
>>319663393
How much of that comfort comes from the nostalgia though? Do you think the game is inherently comfy?
>>319663064
>>319663141
With a controller, you can play in any position and warmed up underneath a blanket. KB/M is just to uncomfortable to play for long periods of time.
>>319660542
is there mouse support in gothic 1 or do i have to turn sideways with keys?

>>319663595
It's not about position.
>>319663595
I mean, where I live it's hardly ever under 10°C, so I only need a comfy chair and kick back.
Gonna hit you fools with some oldschool comfy now
World of Illusion Mickey Mouse/Donald Duck, it may however just be nostalgia but its so fucking good
What the fuck is a comfy game?
>>319663595
I agree with your first sentence but I disagree with the second.
>>319663934
its not nostalgia, it IS good

>>319654678
This motherfucker right here.
When I first saw it being discussed on /v/ I thought it was another meme game that's actually shit, but my god if it isn't one of the coziest games to play on a lazy day off.
>>319663962
If you have to ask you'll never know.
Super Mario RPG
>>319659560
You really don't need to play FF8 to understand kingdom hearts. Only some FF7 plot makes it in and its barely anything
>>319655140
>can be surprise attacked by random giant monsters in the wild
>no housing
>towns are absolute trash
Please explain to me how DD is comfy exactly? The only loosely comfy area I can think about are the safe spots in Bitterblack Isle.
Post-game completely annihilate any sense of comfort from the game, and that's the best part of the game (not counting Bitterblack).
