Africa would be an amazing game for a survival horror type game similar to Siren.
Some of the locations in Siren reminded me of the place I stayed in South Africa, and the nearby shanty towns etc. Also at night, it's dark as FUCK.
I'd be interested in an African open world RPG or something. Take Witcher 3. I don't think it's a problem that everyone in Witcher 3 is white, because it's set in a Northern European analogue. It deals with real traditions, histories, and stories, and no one is complaining that it's demeaning to white people because you're killing them all the time.
Imagine that same game, just instead of a Northern European analogue, in an East African analogue. You've got mountains, lakes, desert to the north, rainforest to the south, a huge collection of fables and tales to build stories off. The fact that every character would be black would just be incidental. Like, "Duh, of course they're black. It's East Africa. I'm not going to throw your token race into the game just because you told me to."
