I started silent hill 3 as a kid because "I aint no casual" and never beat it. Years later I went back and did hard mode again and still couldn't beat it. That means I couldn't even really start the game for years until I gave up and put it on normal.

Fuck any game that requires outside knowledge that may or may not be common knowledge.

A fictional alphabet can (and in most cases does) represent sounds that are used by real alphabets.

A numerical system can use the same algebra of the real world, but represent it in a way that isn't used in real life, and be therefore FICTIONAL.

The pdf for it is easy to acquire.
All 1000 pages of it (though most of those are charts).

Though I'm not sure if "playing" is the proper word here. The "system" is such a clusterfuck that would be more like houseruling things together while using the stats in game.

Of course you can. That doesn't change that there's no way to make out numbers from the darker green based on how little it shows. You're looking for something where it's not there, the colour change there is just to make it harder for colourblind people to see the 57.

>>
>>319652231
There's a quest in Arcanum that allows you to do that. You can also debate against nihilism with the final boss, if i remember correctly
>>
>>319652856
Colorblindness is rarely a case of, "I didn't know I had it". Most people with it know they're color blind unless they're literally shut in and never talk to people or somehow every conversation they ever had didn't touch on colors they have a deficiency in, which mind you color is one of the main focal points for a lot of people since it's easily identifiable ("I'm by the red car").

If you're worried that you're getting colors wrong but you can actually the tell difference (even if you get the name wrong) you're not color blind, you're just ignorant. Like I still can never tell what is pink or purple or everything between. They all look purple to me but I visually see the difference I just don't know what makes it pink/purple because I'm retarded.
>>
>>319652527

Tolkien never even made a language, just the basis of one.
>>
>>319652671
You can't read, but I'll be patient and explain again.

"fictional numerical system" doesn't mean that it's 100% fiction. As long as any part of it is fictional, then it's considered fictional.

Yes, the quinary system exists and it's used in the real world. But the quinary system used in the game in question uses fictional symbols that actually work differently from numbers in the real world. It is therefore a "fictional numerical system", exactly how an alphabet that represents exactly the same sounds of the English language using fictional symbols would still be a "fictional alphabet".

You spastic glue-breathing retarded chimp.
>>
>>319653110

>>319653110
But while being color blinded you need someone to tell you that you are color blinded. Since language association only works per individuals and it isn't a social construct. You create your own image of each word you learn and in the case of colors is the colors you perceive in reality. If you are color blinded and can see an spectrum of color you would never known until you point out something that denotes you are color blinded to someone that isn't.

most of the puzzles are actually quite tame in hard mode actually. It's just a few littered here and there that requires ridiculous stuff from you.

There are a few puzzles that have books that teach you how to solve them if you don't have the knowledge and they take it out on hard mode and that is the only change. That and you'll never solve the puzzle to unlock royal flush but that is optional.

>>319655110
That is just a really poorly done puzzle. You most likely have never used the feature to rotate stuff in your inventory and most people prior to this didn't even know said feature existed. Then the only hint (which I don't remember what the actual hint was) was a piece a paper that was easy to miss. The final issue being that they have those symbols around in the dungeon so you think the solution is based on those symbols instead of it just being decorations.

I'll admit that I brute forced 2 dungeons and only found out cause someone told me.
>>
>>319655691
