Mass Effect is barely tolerable on the whole. Bioware can make some pretty good characters which was the only think that kept me invested.
Story wasnt great.
Gameplay was mediocre.
"Load times" were unbearably annoying.

I don't have any doubts surrounding the quality of Kotor, it just felt pretty dated when I picked it up the first time. I was also catching up on some of my catalouge as well so I jumped around a bit, not giving attention where it was deserved.
