As someone who loves the Souls games I think it's them. Souls fans think way too highly of themselves and think they're hadcore gaymers. Also they meme way too fucking much. I'm tired of seeing Praise the Sun in places it makes no sense.

Any in-development game usually. To any current fan the game is quite possibly the most perfect game in it's current state and, much like /v/, any dissenting opinion is called out as trolling, shit or irrelevant. If the lazy dev were to listen to these fans they likely are to see their player count drop and become frustrated as to why no one is playing their game when they are doing everything right.
