Quite a few other spinoffs are based on the anime. For example, a lot of them use anime-style cries instead of main-series ones, like Hey You Pikachu, Pokémon Channel, and Poképark.

The only ideas that came to the main games from the anime are:
* Pikachu's cry in Gen6
* Suggested alt names for Red and Blue
* Various things in Yellow
