I get the impression Nintendo doesn't know what the fuck they're doing with Rosa. They go to the trouble of establishing her as some sort of cosmic eternal, and then just treat her as yet another Peach. Daisy hadn't done much until they revived her for sports titles, so she was malleable. But it's fucking weird to see a centuries-old celestial matron romping in fursuits and being too stupid not to fall into black holes.
