it was allegedly going to be an entirely different game than what was released. gameplay mechanic wise it was stellar
unfortunately activision shafted them seven months before release by changing the entire story causing the head writer (and one of the founders) and marty odonnell to leave and a lot of the content to be cut/pushed to dlc

I was sorta disappointed at launch, I liked the gameplay but there wasn't much content, never got around to doing the raids. Dropped it after playing 2 or 3 weeks then sold it. I bought the Taken King expansion in september and really liked all the stuff they added but it didnt really add much depth, still too grindy for my taste. Overall I'd rate it like a 7/10
