I've seen playthroughs of it, which is enough to see how basic they are. It's all just purely memorization based, while in Ikaruga you need much more execution skills plus there are also more random patterns.

That's complete bullshit. I know very well how horribly hard it is to play through many STGs, but Radiant Silvergun is all just really purely memorization. Once you memoized the patterns, it's quite simple. In Ikaruga you can memorize the end boss for example as much as you want, if you don't have really good execution skills and are wide awake, he will easily kill you six times in a row anyway.

You shouldn't be running into the wrong colored bullets then. It's not my fault you're shit at games. The patterns in DDP are much harder than any pattern in Ikaruga anyway, and there's no polarity bullshit to save you in DDP, just a set amount of bombs (which you can't use if you want to enter the 2nd loop and get the good ending, btw).
