Asus vg248qe is 144hz and has a great stand. I have it and like it.. doesn't look super great imo but I'm probably incompetent at setting it up well

Lg Ultrawide monitors are pretty damn good, they're not expensive, always IPS with 5ms. And you can enjoy a wider view without much performance loss.

Yes. TN panels have worse colours and very narrow viewing angles but much faster response times.
IPS panels have better colours (especially blacks) and wider viewing angles.
