The player base. You need many players in order for your MOBA to be successful.
What do all MOBAs have in common? Low system requirements so literally everyone can play.
And most people who are BIG into MOBAs really don't play much else, they probably don't have a fully upgraded PC.
This games graphics are modern, it won't run on a shit PC, literally 90% of the MOBA player base has a shit PC.
Epic Games literally shot themselves in the leg. If you want your multiplayer game to be big it must be able to run on toasters.

When you look at it, this is Onslaught mode with plaqyer stats. People who loved UT2k4 will want to try this.
The MOBA genre is way oversaturated at this point, only 2 are even successful. It's the same situation as WoW clones and COD clones. Why would anyone bother playing direct imitations of games they already play all the time and are invested in? Not to mention, most of those toaster players outside the U.S. and Western Europe don't even own the PC's they play on, they just go to internet cafes because they can't afford any other way.

I can play UT4 on a fucking HD5750 at 60fps, it will run just fine on toasters.
The more players a MOBA has, the less shitty it will be. High system requirements ensure no poor underage get in. I fully trust Epic to do this well. Hopefully it has enough players to justify steady updates though.
