FFX is ported to ps4, ps4 has pc-like architecture, so it's easy to port it to pc for quick bux.
FF9 was never ported to other platforms. They not going to port it to pc only because porting ps1 game to x86 is a nightmare, it requires a lot of resources.They probably lost the source code too. Pc sales of ff titles are not big enough to justify the port. Tl;dr: NEVER EVER.
