So I found this at my school. Appearantly they took over the entire lounge hall by our subway to do this "anime" club live stream of three autistic guys (at least one is literally diagnosed with autism) playing games.

They don't watch anime, except for maybe on 1 TV in the corner.
If you go in there expecting anime, you're going to be disappointed because its all going to be some sort of indie game, or a fighting game, or smash.
Even the anime stores I know of only get people to show up at their events because of the fighting games.

OP here. The sad thing is, the anime club used to be run by some friends of mine before they graduated. We used to show a wide array of anime from classics to newer hidden gems. I learned a good deal and made some decent friends. Then I had to stay a few more semesters because an engineering degree takes forever if you fuck up at all, and they all left and got replaced with... this...
I'll be so glad once I'm done with community college.

Don't know about that, I've checked out a nearby uni's club on several occasions (they don't require you to attend the school to attend certain clubs, I'm way too old for college now) and all they do is watch anime, and it's typically current-season stuff and hidden gems from the past. When I was a senior 2 at my high school years ago, there wasn't a video game club thank god, until the last few months I was there. It was hosted by one of the teachers, keep in mind this was one of the most bro teachers of all time and I had one of his classes for english and liked talking to him, had him review projects and papers for other classes and give advice which I then in turn made A's for them.
I didn't plan on going because I knew the audience, but a couple close friends of mine who are fairly normal people wanted to check it out so I wouldn't be in the wilds of autism here keep in mind it was about 5 of us and like 15 of them, and it was just as bad as I thought it would be. I walked in the room after school ended when they were about to start and it smelled horrible. Half the kids were wearing jeans and jackets despite it being 80* outside, none of them realized they should shave their shitty psuedo-staches, or looked like they knew they should wash their greasy hair more than 1 time a month. It was a lot of awkward silence and when they did talk they stumbled over their words like this was the first time they were ever in a social situation.
Then somebody actually proposed playing a fucking game, he just had a gamecube with a copy of melee and 4 controllers on him for whatever reason and we hooked it up to the projector and played. We set up a tournament, I hadn't even touched a smash game in about 5+ years at this point but I picked falcon because that was who I played a lot, of course a lot of people picked fox and marth but 90% of the people were fucking awful at the game, it was baffling giving the audience there.
only like 2 friends wanted to go again, we just stood there for a few minutes at the start before one suggested we just go eat at five guys instead, and I never went back.

Eh, the anime club at my school was alright.
We would watch the current season subbed, usually we started each season with ~7 series and also 2~3 ongoing series or something we missed from a previous season.
We took a vote at episode 3 (because almost all of us have a personal rule of watching 3 episodes before dropping a show) and would drop series that lost the vote.
Any extra time was filled with video games, usually smash bros or a fighting game.
