Imagine that Left 4 Dead 3 is released in 2016.
How does Valve handle it?
Do they try to make it e-sport? Do they add skins to guns or any other market items like cases and keys to hype up market? What can be improved in series?
I want to hear your opinions, also feel free to say what you wish to see in Left 4 Dead 3.
It'll probably have a big focus on the versus mode, making it a competitive game. With all kinds of microtransactions for cosmetics.
Also it will be updated with new content once or twice a year if at all, like Dota 2.
Valve looks at what makes the walking dead so successful, try to flesh out the characters and story more this time around while making the core game set in 4 player co op somehow .idk how they'll do it but that's my theory
F2P
Customizable survivors would be my guess with microtransactions for more customization items.
As for things I'd like to see would be bandit/military NPCs and a gamemode where it's humans vs humans vs infected. Kind of Last of Us multiplayer but there's infected roaming around.

Not in slightest.
bump for interest

After paying full retail price for the same game twice I am not buying it again.
Also gitting gud at this game is a very painful process without a matchmaking algorithm.

Make it an open world roguelike

people will play for 2 years then the game will die like 1 and 2 tf2 MvM because co-op with retards on the team is never fun.

it's fun with full premade team
