I think I will end up using the one from the PSN store then since I am going to be traveling alot soon since its the holidays and all that and its the same as the original which is what I wanted. I want to know what people see in the game and what made it so big. Ill proberly will be playing through all the mainline Final fantasy games after I beat 7. I'm pretty sure FFVII is one of the few classic games where none of the ports have any particular things fucked up or even any "improvements" that make the game better for newcomers but worse for people who played the original. The PC version initially had shitty MIDI music but that's been fixed.
PC/PS4 versions are obviously slightly better as they support higher resolutions, but the original polygon graphics are so shitty that that barely matters. If you feel like playing easymode the PC/PS4 versions also have easily-toggleable cheats, but if you're playing for the first time you should probably avoid using those.
