On your annual playthrough of OoT do you:
1. Race to town so that you can beat the clock and get there before sundown, or deliberately wait until the bridge is going up so that you can hear Malon singing in the square at night?
2. Talk to Malon in the townsquare first, or pass her and wait until she spawns by the vines?
3. Do you climb up the vines, or do you pay off the guard at the gate by talking to him twice after getting Malon's egg?
4. If you're not going to town on the first day, do you get the Hylian Shield from the graveyard so that it matches up with the ending, or do you wait to get it/buy one later?
5. Do you go to the Lost Woods by opening the shortcut with fire from Darunia's room, or go to the woods and then run all the way back after learning Saria's Song first?

It's annoying if you light all four torches to trigger the cutscene with the big pot and then do the next floor. It's not if you just run to the latter two torches, light one, then relight your stick and go for the shortcut.
But a lot of us are probably OCD so we will light all the torches because we can't bear passing a flag in our way and not activating it.

It's been such a long time since I played OoT that I can't tell if these actually happened in the game, or are made up. I don't remember ever seeing Malon outside her farm, or any vines, or a secret Hylian Shield, or the magic meter. The shortcut sounds familiar, but I can't say.
I literally haven't played this game since... 2002 I think?

i superslide everywhere, seamwalk and reverse bottle adventure all of my items and wrongwarp to sequence break. its the only interesting way to play after 10 playthroughs.

2: talk to her by the vines
3: climb up the vines (there's another way to do it?)
4: I just get it when zelda sends you to the village
5: go in the woods and run all the way back
6: of course I do
I can't imagine playing a modern zelda more than once
I played zelda 1, zelda 2, and zelda 3 multiple times, because they were challenging or interesting
the idea that I would sit through triangle polygon of time again is unimaginable to me, it simply looks like garbage, and it's so easy, why would you bother
