Speaking of that there's something I really didn't like about DGS's case one.How it literally took thirty minutes for Ryu to finally come out and say that the beefsteak was actually the soldier's and not Jezail's, something that was instantly obvious. I don't like this type of pandering just to make the case last longer

I just beat the first 3 games last week for the first time.

Goddamn all that build up was worth it.
I never really felt like AA needed an anime. Like, I won't say no, and people who get into the series from that aren't somehow lesser for it ("secondary" is a silly concept), but one of the biggest draws of the series for me has always been playing it and personally being the driving force in the mystery unfolding. That's also why I'm not interested in watching DGS subbed on youtube.

Also a show with the same basic mystery premise already exists and some of the characters especially in that case about the thief seem like a homage. I wouldn't be against it happening but i don't see what the value added would be out of making it an anime either.

The character development she does need however is as a lawyer
Turnabout Academy is arguably the best first case for a rookie as far as development goes, but Athena needed desperate help, she needs a case she can solve on her own
If the game isn't gonna do it, then hopefully DLC will
