It's a thing. You have to have grown with the propensity and inclination towards twitch reflexes, problem solving, and critical thinking. It's not something you can just pick up when you're 20 or 30. If you aren't already gud, you can't git gud.
Either that, or you just need to learn more about the game you're playing. If it's touhou, learn the scoring system, and focus on getting lives and bombs. Learn techniques like streaming, or reflex bombing.
