It'd be pretty easy to use an IP address to find a computer's general location and have a weather forecast available. Since forecasts can tell you with reasonable accuracy what probability the weather will be sunny, rainy, etc even way later on down the week, you wouldn't require an internet connection every time you play it.
The issue is more with the legality of having a game that uses software to automatically search the internet with the player's real world location.

One step ahead of you, microsoft flight sim series have tons of plugins to port IRL stuff in game, from traffic to weather conditions, with precipitation, cloud types, taken things like temperature, height hot air spots and many other thing into consideration.
There is no comfiest feeling than flying over your house in the raid while reading METAR, looking at radar showing heavy storm ahead and hearing rain drops on your window.I dont know why I chose that pic

It's more of a mind thing for me, since years of playing Silent Hill, Resident Evil and Dino Crisis made me wary of everything, but there was this one PS2 horror game I played a long time ago which name I can't remember that kept playing a really spooky dark ambient song with wailing and moaning sound effects in the pause menu, it was really fucking unsettling.

In chest menu it displays as 4x4 node screen with large miniatures.
scrolling down is slow as fuck and every miniature has to load so you cant see anything for the first few seconds.
To move items you have to move item to your inventory then scroll up and place it there.
