I'm very interested in Birdie and Dhalsim as the more long-range players in a game about mindless offense. However, I am liking what I saw of the PSX build. Namely Laura nerfs and damage buffs for Birdie. I'm even okay with the fact that Birdie seems to be totally devoid of links now. I'm also down to clown with Fang. He's wacky enough for me to feel compelled to check him out.

Now perhaps it's not my place to say anything since I don't play fighting games, but isn't it a bit silly to buy a Street Fighter title on release knowing that there will be a new version after a year or so?
SF2 had a million versions, and so did 4. How is this any different, especially considering that they've already announced DLC characters?
