Just finished the Mitch Baker mission with the Chaosmeter, then went up to that shitty shack to save and lose my 5 star wanted level. After the save it crashed.
However rolled back to my save before that, so I just need to do the first 2 Love Fist missions and the Angel racing. I'm just about to pick up where I crashed, will report back if this happens again.

The Steam version got a mandatory patch which basically added in a bunch of features from the new mobile versions. More resolution options, better controller support, etc. The downside was that they no longer have licenses for a bunch of the soundtrack, so they just removed them. This means even people that bought a copy of the game who had every right to have those songs, got them forcibly patched out. The update also broke pretty much all mods, but that's neither here nor there. At least that's not literally deleting content people paid for.
