Despite the primitive combat with it being the first game of that engine, gameplay and bosses are still lots of fun

So whats the general consensus on the Ys series? I beat celceta but honestly I can't say I enjoyed it very much after the first 5 or so hours. Any other games you guys feel are worth giving the series a second chance?

Celceta is mind numbingly easy compared the rest of the Ys series. If you at least liked the gameplay style then I suggest Ys 7. Oath in Felghana and Origin use a different engine but are both enjoyable games
