P3 MC, Aki, Chie up front, Yukari and Aigis in back. Physical was just way more sustainable than magic. Chie and Aki could fucking wreck shit if they could get a crit for a free power charge. Aigis just taunts and tanks in back and Yukari's mostly buffs/heals.

I don't know, I didn't think it was a very good game because I couldn't use all my favorite characters. Their personalities were really shallow too.
But I thought it was good because it expanded the mapping tools a lot and the dungeon design as in the artwork was really nice. It was neat that the deeper you went, the more unraveled everything would get.
Oh, but I didn't appreciate all the mandatory enemy encounters everywhere. That was bullshit and cost me like 20 hours of progress becaues I'd go to my limit grinding and adventuring and decide to return at low HP through a shortcut coming up only to get caught in yet another scripted battle that would wipe out all my dudes. I didn't like that in Dungeon Travelers either, but at least in that game I could put my own party together.

It gets pretty hard in Hard and Risky mode, especially early, but it's really fun since fights require a lot of planning. The sooner you can get the best skills, the sooner it becomes easy, though. It can get retarded by the endgame if you set up a specific combo.

I played on the risky mode and it was a challenge, but it wasn't like super duper hard. Especially by about the third dungeon. Maybe a little bullshit at times in the same way SMT likes to (everyone pigpiles on the MC, etc.)

The normal difficulty can be piss easy if you use the right party (bring Naoto and Aigis), but should be perfect for a newcomer to the EO style of game.

Though for all battles except bosses, Naoto is pretty much all I need. That extra SP system breaks the game hard.
I liked PQ a lot, the dungeon gimmicks were fun. Better than EOIV's, which is my only other experience with the series.
