I finally beat Tribunal and started Bloodmoon! The snow and trees is surprisingly comfy after all the alien landscapes of Vvardenfell. But the local wildlife has no business being as strong as it is even if I am level 55.
Hound out the moonsugar bases.
Why the hell do rieklings have reflect?! My nuke spell keeps getting me killed since it's like a reflex now and my quicksave is from 20 minutes ago.
>I finally beat Tribunal and started Bloodmoon
Did you play Tribunal with Sotha Sil Expanded though
>>319235757
>only level 55
heh swit
>>319237474
No because this was my third attempt at Tribunal. Every time before now I got bored and didn't finish, so I'd never start bloodmoon.
>>319237015
What moonsugar bases? And on that note, why isn't there a good breaking bad style drug questline for any tes game yet? It'd be awesome to become a drug manufacturer in tes.
>>319237581
>being a filthy orc
Nah. I'm an Altmer with 9521 INT and 4803 WIS. Get on my level.
I want to do a replay of this game and finally finish the expansions. I've played melee characters every playthrough what crazy build should I do?
Also is there an easy compilation of graphics overhauls/textures/animations, or do I have to do it all manually?
Any mods that up the difficulty? I find I can go around massacring everything pretty quickly even without alchemy just by hitting things with my unique spears.
>>319237742
Download the Vvardenfel Drug Lord mod then, it's a classic.
>>319237354
reflect is a tough mechanic. some shit as low as dwarven spectre have 20%. one character i did was pure caster with altmer, apprentice and those robes with x5 int. so any reflect was a death sentence. solution was a summoning set of spells, and always be ready for dispel self 100pts and chugging about 2 gallons of random hp potions. very hard to combat, takes experience to learn what enemies have it. if i recall, i think it was only the rieklings that rode the pigs with reflect maybe.
another strategy i considered was topping up a school of resistance like lightning, then using long burning dots so they wouldn't melt my shit in half a second. too much of a hastle though and limiting. keep calm and golden saint.
>>319238060
do even play this game?
desu baka senpai
>>319238307
Aye, Vvardenfel Drug Lord is just what you want if you want the Breaking Bad feel. It's literally
>We need to cook.esp
>>319238307
Looks interesting, I'll have to give it a shot.
>>319239129
Hell yeah, nigga.
>>319238376
I wound up doing Sheogorath's quest and getting the spear of bitter mercy so I have a melee option. But I much preferred nuke spells since I'm playing a heavy armored mage.
>>319235757
Post screenshots
>>319237474
I tried playing it but I must have installed it wrong because it was all fucked up. I gave up once I realized shit like doors didn't work and the cells were all mixed up.
>>319239351
>>319239496
According to trainwiz one of the other people who worked on it asked to do a patch, and when they did they reset most of the mod, so the vanilla city and the new one started to mix together and it broke everything for several patches.
>>319239351
Okay, I'm restarting in windowed mode then. Before I was posting from a tablet while I played.
I just finished my preliminary exploration of the island's coast. Now I'm going to start the East Empire Company questline. Business!
>>319238638
what filters as baka?
>>319239310
i had this problem in oblivion as well, with another pure caster. used a lot of summon lich, that come with a staff (fireball), then spam the enemy with weakness to fire until it stuck.
it's a shitty mechanic and is pretty lazy in my opinion
reminds me of iron maiden deathknights in diablo 2. lol barbarians, rip in peace

Dealin' ain't easy
>>319239675
Ah really? Because that sounds exactly like what happened with me. Maybe I should give it another go then, if it's been fixed. It seemed really dope.
>>319240000
NICE QUADS
Dealin' ain't easy until you make it big and can just collect the profits.
>>319240040
I'm not sure. According to him he fixed it in 2.2
>>319238408
>not being an alchemist
Stop drinking potions like a noob
>>319240795
It's been a while since I tried it, so I'm sure it's fixed. Thanks for the heads up.
>>319240000
Oh my god I want this bad.
Anyway here's my character. Jovron the Tank Mage. I started out using heavy armor and touch spells and eventually became a demigod.
why is it so hard being a mage?
>>319240982
Get VDL, and you'll have it. You can even smoke skooma, moon sugar, or hackle-lo leaf in skooma pipes too.
>>319241107
You have to play it like Macguyver. be creative
>>319240924
Tell me if something's broken. I tried to get all of Gearmaster's errors eliminated, but you never know if there's one fuck that slips through the cracks.
Well I'm now an Underling with the East Empire Company! Time to make some money and exploit resources and shit.
>>319241341
>Trying to cut down on travel expenses by buying more raw materials at once
>Notice the hefty speed and strength bonuses from Skooma
>Start using a hit of it to better my turn around
>Accidentally get addicted
>Gotta keep using it, cutting into my margins even more
My fault for not reading the readme.

>>319240982
If you want it download Vvardenfel Drug Lord, he wasn't even exaggerating.
Why is it that Bethesda could make what looked like real towns 15 years ago but now "towns" in their games consist of like four buildings and six people?
>>319242260
Towns back then were pretty small too, they just seemed bigger due to tricks they used for Morrowind.
>>319242204
It's absolutely my next stop after finishing Bloodmoon. Actually I might start a new character for that so I don't just blow through everything with maxed out personality and power.
>>319242260
Well the actual percentage of shrinkage between Skyrim's towns and Morrowind's isn't as extreme as most people think. But to more specifically answer your questions, setting up a full city in Skyrim is a lot more complicated nowadays than Morrowind was, and Morrowind also had less detail in terms of outright decorating that needed to be done. Many cities in Skyrim use unique assets for almost all the houses in a single city, compared to Morrowind which used common tilesets for all of them.
>>319242725
>Not just throwing a pile of sacks on a shelf and calling it decorated
>>319240917
this is alchemy right? right, let's try this since anon said to.
>>319243074
D-did you kill that man?
>>319243031
That's another thing, is that Morrowind actually has clutter templates they use to let the relatively small team of artists make things quickly.
>>319243217
honestly he was like that when I got there
it's actually quite common in morrowind
>>319243074
>Killing Skooma Claus
You are the worst Khajiit abomination ever.
How are you ever going to become a Druglord without his help?
>>319243538
ehhhhhhhh fuck it wheres the prostitution mod i'll do that instead
>>319243938
Shouldn't you be in /tesg/ with all your other waifumod buddies?
This thread is about exploring morrowind and drugs. Not lewd.
>>319235757
>An imperial territor
>Capital Cit of Morrowind
Why do daedra hate the letter y?
>>319241756
it was extremely buggy last time i tried it at this time last year. Finally got to the city and it was sub10fps even without mge so I gave up.
>>319238376
>>319239310
Absorb Health spells won't kill you if reflected, it drains your health and gives it right back.
Made a Mystic Mage instead of destruction once because of this, was surprisingly awesome.
>>319244334
Can't help you with the framerates, that's less a bug and you needing a better computer, because the city is just so damn big.
>>319244503
it seemed like scripts were messed up and causing the fps drop. Lots of the scripted events early in the mod didn't even fire. I had to tcl through rooms a couple times.
>>319244408
Can those be targeted? If it's touch only that's not gonna work for me.
>>319244258
X gets left out too but it isn't as noticeable as no one uses X.
Holla if you're a real Nerevarine and always get the Based Boots of Blinding Speed.
Beast peasants need not respond.
>>319244834
Sounds like you were using one of the post-gearmaster versions then. Like >>319239675 said, despite just being told to take the existing mod and modify it, the guy who was doing the patch instead decided to overwrite and re-merge Tribunal into it, which both reset and forced together any changed cells, screwing the whole thing up.
>>319240000
>Worrying my business partner is cheating me
Man, fuck that guy.
>>319245059
Loved that shit.
Feel bad for the Boots of the Apostle. Shit can't compare.
>assigned to beat up Hroldar the Strange
Why can't we just get along, Hroldar. I'd help with your cause. I'm a hippy at heart just like you ;_;
>>319244195
they don't accept non-skyrim people
>>319245072
Why are you so mean to people who can't figure out Wheels of Lull?
>>319244841
Of course they can be, spellmaking yo. Even get radius. But they are alot more expensive to cast / make than elemental spells.
>>319245492
>Just like you
heh
>>319245714
I'm not sure what you'd want me to do. Stupidity and failure shouldn't be rewarded, especially given how damn easy Wheels of Lull actually is. There's even a full walkthrough and an item to solve the quest for you if you get stuck.
Now SSE I can forgive you, because that actually asks you to solve legitimate puzzles.
>>319246101
For me it's not so much the cost of casting, it's the chance. I'm happy to make fortify int potions all day long but fortify willpower bugs me for some reason. I have about 15 left to help me cast my nuke spells but once they run out I need to go do some more alchemy.
Now I'm looking for missing shipping. I've always been fond of ships and boats and anything on the water so I'm really enjoying this one.
>>319246475
Well I assume he's a hippy. Hippies hate any kind of productive enterprise exploiting natural resources.
Oh man, I just found a Damsel In Distress and she's pretty moe. She won't shut up about inane shit while I'm trying to escort her back and loot the ship. Cute.
>>319246768
Jump spells everywhere?
Best travel method.
>>319247407
70 points jump + 1 point slowfall + restore fatigue when cast. Best travel method.
>>319247407
Nah man steel blade of heaven. I never bothered to make a slowfall amulet so I just use those short blades with the awesome levitation enchantment that you can find lying around.
OMW when?
>>319248032
Never friend.
Whats the status of Tamriel Rebuilt these days?
>>319246483
I need to get around to playing SSE and Wheels of Lull and the Versus Vivec.
Next time I'm in a Morrowind Mood I will I'm sure of it this time. I shoulda done Lull Wheels back when I was in the mood for Skyrim. The World Eater-Beater was pretty fun.
>deciding how the colony's built up
>saving damsels in distress
>making fat stacks in the pickaxe market
I like bloodmoon way more than tribunal already.
>>319250313
It's way better than Tribunal.
>>319250313
Just wait until you have to repair your equipment
>>319250313
Tribunal is terrible without SSE
And even then it just turns it into a slog to get to the Clockwork City
>>319250510
Why? There's journeyman's hammers lying around everywhere and I have good skill in armorer (since I'm into heavy armor and all). I usually repair everything whenever I find one then leave it where I found it. I keep a master's hammer on me for whenever the blinding boots break in the middle of a fight.
50 item endurance is suffering.
>>319250901
Huh. I recall there being exactly zero hammers in all of vanilla Solstheim.
>>319251192
I'm finding them in crates and chests pretty much everywhere. In barrows and caves and such.
Are the smiths outrageously priced or something?
>>319240000
>>319239219
Remove Khajiit.
>>319253764
