I have GTX650 and some cheap AMD CPU. I bought these during the last gen and I could run everything better than my PS3. I can STILL run every game I want. Even Dark Souls 2 ran at max settings 1080p/60fps.

There is a difference between frame rates in games. The higher frame rates you have, the better your input response will be. Generally speaking, games read inputs every frames, so if you have 100 frames, you can mash a button only 100 times a second, if you have 200, you double the rate at which you can mash.

Some genres like FPSs and racing games do benefit significantly from 60FPS, and all games should strive for 60 if it's within their power, but I'm not gonna get torn up about it. Thief 4 didn't feel that bad. It and Dishonored I've played much more of than The Dark Project. It's just that Stealth in older games are held back by the systems of the time.
Turn-Based and ATB RPGs are great and it's a shame that they're a dying breed. Chrono Trigger and FFVII were really fun and the fact that the last chance of getting a new ATB RPG from Squeenix is going down the drain is just too bad.
I still enjoy PAYDAY 2 despite the DLC, weapon changes, and microtransactions. I definitely use more Vanilla and Free DLC weapons compared to Paid, like always the OP Pistols patch was toned down, and the skin boosts are so marginal that anyone who actually puts time into the game knows that it barely matters at all unless you're doing Death Wish. In that case, most Skin users are kicked anyway.
Finally, all games really just pale in the comparison of SS13. There's so few other games handled perfectly by the community, has the best outlet for servers like /tg/station and /vg/station to have a place to talk outside of the game, and it's the only one where shitters get thinned out by natural selection.
