Blade Kitten. Webcomic by the studio's creative director. They sunk a load of money into a game of it and it bombed hard. Studio closed within a month of it being launched. It was an episodic game and the publisher, atari, didn't want to fucking touch a second chapter after the first's performance.

You had to bait him and while he was eating go underwater and shoot these oxygen tanks. When they float up you have to hit them with the flamerang to make them explode in his mouth. I have absolutely no clue how they expected children to figure that out.

Aside from a lackluster final boss and some serious issues with collision detecting while gliding, it was a pretty fun game. 7/10. I think I may play this when I go to visit my brother who has it.
I miss slightly above average generic-ish platformers like these and Crash. Not exactly high quality, but they're still cozy every now and again.
