ive already played the eshop version and enjoyed the hell out of it. never got a chance to play the 3d version until now and they fucking butchered the original music but its still a lot of fun to play.

Second Room of hell is easily the worst due to all the randomness of angels and blocks falling. That's what gets me always.
As to the OP idk I'd agree. Some others might edge it out in gameplay or story, but nothing beats its historical significance in the indie scene yet

the background environments are detailed which is pretty neat. sometimes the original palette is lost due to the new textures and 3d stuff which is lame but it still feels about like the same game which is nice. idk if id fully recommend it though, the eshop version is definitely superior.
