Smash is getting it's final DLC announced THIS December!
Here's why I think it would be Daisy.
• Peach and Rosalina made it in, so why not complete the set?
• There has been no female character DLC so far despite there being a female option in the ballot. Daisy has been in more games than any other female besides Peach, and she's still not in Smash!
• She has not been a proper alternate for Peach, probably because the two have too many differences for it to be feasible. I just can't imagine Daisy summoning Peaches, hiding behind Toads, and putting people to sleep.
• Her only trophy in Brawl was has Striker outfit, and her main sticker was....the Striker outfit. Well Peach didn't have a Striker outfit trophy did she? Maybe she was considered in Brawl!
• She has multiple trophies in Smash 4, but no NPC role. Only really important Nintendo characters get multiple trophies.
• Rosalina was revealed in December two years ago, maybe Daisy's trailer will involve her beating the living daylights out of her and the Peach swap!
• The Smash ballot has gave us a left field choice so far in the form of Cloud, who never topped unofficial polls. Daisy would be a very controversial and left field choice, yet she is usually well received in the games that she IS in.
• Princess Daisy is an awesome character to play as in party games! Her obnoxious yet endearing personality is great for trolling your friends, and Smash is a party game at heart.
Do you agree with these reasons? Before you say that she is an irrelevant spin-off character, she is always grouped with the rest of the main cast in artwork and such!

But more realistically, I think if anyone's going to come with Cloud, it'll be Wolf. He's the only veteran left not completely useless (Pichu) or turfed out for a newer model (Young Link), and Nintendo would have the chance to drum up some badly needed hype for Star Fox Zero.

You can argue about Snake, but she's way too mature for it. Also she'd be a minority in the guest line as every guest character has been from the 80s-90s era, all of which who offered something. Bayonetta is literally just fem-donte
I can think of a character that MIGHT be on Smash. (Emphasis on the word might because you can't predict the future).
It's the kind of character Daisy fags would loathe to have because it's simply not Daisy and yet, would have to settle. And in that regard, many groups of fanbases would have to settle with as well, some tolerating the idea better than others. About three or four fanbases altogether, if not more. But when you think about it, it just makes some sort of sense. Not much sense, but a little sense. It goes hand in hand with something that's missing in Smash 4 and will probably make a comeback alongside this character with maybe even a stage coming along and a few extra trophies. Maybe it's a far'fetched theory, but who knows.
