But you still have to start up a PC, launch steam and something is going to break so you have to get up to get your keyboard to config the .ini or some shit. It's always like that with PC games. Also you have to configure the graphics and overclock and everything just to make it run while on console you just relax and play. I got a controller for the 1st time last year. Had PC most of my life. Last console was n64 and I reaaaaaally like playing with a controller in most games now. I even manage to do well in some multiplayer FPS games like CoD, BF4, Battlefront, Vermintide, and Payday. But Im starting to really wish I owned a console instead cause competing with mouse users is just too frustrating some times. Plus the added benefit of no hackers on console or at the very least, a vastly reduced amount. I used to say PC multiplayer was superior for so many reasons, but with the lack of server browsers, lack of mod support in a lot of games, and overall just more consolised shit you see every year. I kinda just want a PS4 and to use my computer for jerking off purposes.

Remember, your brain associates activities with where and how you do them. As a human, that's how you're wired.
On a console, you can only play vidya, or maybe watch Netflix, so that's what your brain associates it with.
Whereas your brain associates your PC with /v/, youtube, work/homework, etcetera.
This means you can never enjoy vidya in a traditional PC environment as much as you can in a traditional console environment.
Now, of course, you can get around this by hooking up your PC in such a way that non-vidya is done at your desk, while vidya is done on a couch with a console controller and a big TV. That's the flexibility of a PC.
But most (virtually all, in fact) people don't put in the effort to set that up, and end up shitposting on /v/ when they should be playing video games.
When a console player says he just prefers it but can't articulate why, he's experiencing this effect.
