If you ask for my honest opinion, I'd say that 28 to two is an actual ratio for people that really give a shit about video games. Not like that 50/50 bullshit they came up with when they wrote the statistic based on who has even touched a "video game" even once.
My sister is the only female i know that actually plays video games and gives half a shit about the culture of it. That's only because she grew up watching me play them for her whole life.
Still i see her interest shifting to boys and other things like a normal girl, and that's okay. Outside of tumblr, people aren't so up tight about their differences, and are willing to accept that maybe video games just aren't a hobby that a girl will typically hold on to.
Upset about the lack of women in the judges group? Why? They didn't judge any mobile games. I don't think they reviewed the sims.
