Performance - If the game is too buggy or slow, its going to detract from the entertainment factor, making sure the game dont break while you play is the top priority.
Gameplay - Fun factor, i like smacking things in diverse ways, like Yakuza 4, lots of ways of smacking people and things onto people, its like a beat'em up but in 3D
Music - In the game you are going to do pretty much the same thing over and over again, so its gotta be good, if you are playing what ever game and music its fucking annoying.
You can play with the track muted, bad gameplay will make you quit, and a bad performance will not allow you to play in the first place.
That must be why the MGS games are considered to be so great.
