Lyn outwardly states, in-game, she is a child. She's proud of this and has hubris she displays about this frequently in dialogue, relationships with other characters and defines her. There's even a very important story element that relies on the fact she is a child.
To change her age to be 18 (just a simple number change in a manual somewhere, right?) is to defile and drastically change her character. She can no longer state, in-game, that she is a child. She can no longer get famous for her genius work due to her very young age. Her personality, fitting for a child, is no longer fitting. You would have to change Lyn drastically as a character...just so you can see that polygonal model in exactly EXACTLY the same bikini that Elma, Irina, Celica, Alexa, Murderess, Hope, Mia and your own avatar can wear.
Which seems like more censorship to you?

Beyond the Logos Artificial Destiny Emancipator works as an organization name for when they're still on Earth before it's destroyed. It's basically "Operation GTFO". The name is irrelevant by the time you start playing the game.
Builders of the Legacy After the Destruction of Earth is definitely a more current name. While it seems kind of stupid to start the E3 2014 trailer off with "BLADE: Beyond the Logos Artificial Destiny Emancipator" and then change it next year, I can see why the new name would feel more appropriate to the story.
The Testament division had its name changed to Reclaimers, but then again, EVERY division had its name changed or altered.
Colepedian became Curators
Avalanche became Harriers
Inter Ceptor became Interceptors
Companion became Mediators
Arms became Outfitters
Path Finder became Pathfinders
Land Bank became Prospectors
Testament became Reclaimers
Some of these feel more appropriate for an English audience (Prospectors compared to Land Bank), and the localized names are also consistent with roles. In this case, I don't think that "Logos" and "Testament" being changed to "Legacy" and "Reclaimers" is really a matter of religious censorship, but rather just part of a group of localizations. They just happened to fall in with the wrong groups.
I do think that "Growth" being changed to "Ganglion" is stupid though.

They did not get rid of any religion shit. In fact, it's extremely important to the game and its characters. As every Xeno series game ever has. There are dozens, if not hundreds or references to Abrahamic religions and Gnosticism in Xenoblade Chronicles X. Which includes iconoclasts.
