There's a clear reason why I don't like using mics in video games. Most of the time IRL, I talk before thinking and so I say a lot of stupid shit. When I type a sentence, I have a lot more time to think about what I want to say and if there's a mistake or if it's not clear enough, I can just correct myself before even posting the message. By doing that, I feel like I avoid a lot of unease while discussing.The second reason is because I'm French Canadian and I have the shittiest english accent ever.
