Never really did outside of the video games, buddy. I mostly dabbled with Macro builds, a Dark Magician build for funsies(I won a lot with it, surprisingly), but I had a lot of Meta decks too.
In my experience, TCG players are some of the worst sports period.

No shit. All the fucking excuses they throw at you I swear to god. The only way you can have fun is if you lap up their tears for fuel, and I could only do that so long. The negativity amongst TCG players is so intense that it sucks the fun out of everything.

I play Exodia because it's the only deck that you barely need to upgrade throughout each phase yugioh goes through. I've played it since before synchros and xyz and I'll never have anything else. I rarely play more than a couple of games a year anyway so it's not really worth my time to invest in a shit ton of new cards every time something goes obselete.

Yes there is because Konami is so detached from reality that they won't make any good yugioh vidya. Ideally they would want to make an MMO of some sort that allows you to visit the various settings from the shows in huge open maps and duel other players with a paper thin story in there that more or less amounts to "Hey you can beat this game with your cards... or you can pay real money for exactly the cards you want!"
It's literally like 4/5 people at Konami hate money but keep getting tricked by that one guy who still likes it into doing really fucking greedy shit.
