Speccy specs. Come post your specs and feel bad for other people with shit specs.Like me.
Not much better here.
I'm gonna be (hopefully) upgrading a bit this month and the rest a few months from now though.
good enough for me
>>318368843
Its... Kinda off. lol
eh good enough for this shit gen
One of the finest PCs on 4chan right now, pretty hard to beat ;)
I'm playing DMC4SE. I have Fallout 4 and so does everyone else on my friends list, so I can't follow the herd.
>tfw $2000 in australia
>>318368843
Just got this pc for 600€ a week ago. Did I do good?
>>318369850
>GTX 750 Ti
>tfw only have 6 cpu cores while PS4 has unlocked a 7th
>GPU from 2013
>is going to last at least till the end of this console cycle
Feels good. That's why I got two of them.
>>318370537
Isn't she a cutie like a Suzie? ;)
Need suggestions. I know I need more storage space, and I might get a new CPU. Come on /v/, help me out.
>>318370862
750ti: personified
>>318370898

200$ Total.
>>318370391
But I can play all current games on high....
>>318371135
Thanks friend. Also, I'm trying to get a i7, but I might need a new motherboard if I'm gonna overclock. Do you have any suggestions?
>>318370269
That was a bad purchase. You could of built a way better one.
>>318368843
here you go op
>>318371380
Skylake i7 aren't worth it
Take it as someone who owns one >>318370957
Just get the Haswell one
>>318371636
I wasn't planning on getting an skylake i7 because the differences between the generations are too small.
>>318370269

Looking here you did good at everything except the GPU.
>>318371750
Well you won't get much by OCing except self satisfaction.
Nothing really pushes these new CPUs these days.
>>318371860
Hmm, I think I should just get a i7 4790
>>318372028
Just get a haswell Xeon.
Should I upgrade my CPU?
>>318372210
>960 in SLI
lol
i need a new gpu more and more as time goes on but I'm really happy with it considering it's cost effective as fuck. full speed emulation was my primary concern when i made it and I sure as hell got it. based G3258
>>318372180
why?
>>318372180
This.
>>318372573
Cheaper by a lot and the only difference is no iGPU
>>318372573
It's an i7 without integrated GPU for about 150 bucks less.
There is a reason why intel start banning Xeons from consumer board with Skylake. Too many goys went with it.
>>318369794
You should turn the heat on in your house anon
>>318372661
>>318372681
can you guys recommend a Xeon? Also there would literally be no difference?
Friend originally built it for me so I could play WoW with him (Wrath/Cata era).
BIT OVERDUE for an upgrade.
>>318372681
i'm not the guy you were talking to but it figures that this is the first i've heard of that. I will need to replace my g3258 eventually so now i know what to look for, thanks anon
>>318372894
Holy shit anon. Upgrade already
>>318372894
Pretty good for when you got it, I'd say. Seriously tho what is the most demanding game you can run on that?
>>318372872
The Xeon e3-1241 v3 or the Xeon e3-1231 v3 have the best price to performance ratio.
>>318373079
>Xeon e3-1241 v3
Ok. I will look into it. Thanks anon.
>>318373038
Mainly play dota2, no issues. Runs Div:OS (normal edition), Deus Ex HR, Civ5, Skyrim, Dishonored with little to no issues, apart from something like Skyrim on ultra with mods or Civ5 lategame with lots of civs.
Crashed every 5-10 loadscreens in Pillars of Eternity (FUCK DEFIANCE BAY) and am currently getting some occasional RAM issues in Endless Legend.
Missing out on all the AAA stuff kinda sucks, but I have a decent backlog.
still kicking
>>318374008
I was on a E6700 + 460 GTX 5 months back.
Trust me when I say. You think you're fine.
But when you get into i7 + 390 + SSD territory.
You know you weren't fine and you were a fucking retard for not upgrading and fucking torturing yourself.
Not to mention 1680×1050 thats like a 21" monitor or something.
Anon I got 29" 21:9 one and a 24" 16:9
I can't tell you what an upgrade it is to have gone from my old build to this one.
It's mind bogling.
It's like being a fucking peasant using your resources sparingly, watching out for every cent spent. Trying to push everything to it's limits by testing and testing.
Now I turn on ANYTHING and ultra and get 60 fps locked.
It's a fucking joke.
I fuckign quit Civ 5/BE because of how slow turns were compared to Galciv 3. Civ has HORRID CPU optimization. I can play with 20 Civ in Galciv 5 and get turns at 500 faster then turn 200 in civ 5/be
>People with 600 series or above thinking they need to upgrade soon
Why?
I'm running on a 560ti still and it runs most games fine. Can't play Witcher and Battlefront but who gives a fuck?
I'll be upgrading to a 980ti next month along with a whole new rig, but that's only because I'm going back to college and wont have money to do so for the next few years, when I will most definitely need to upgrade. 980ti should last me 5 more years at least.
>>318374530
I realise I will have to upgrade soon. More and more games not supporting 32-bit systems. One issue is plain old cashmoney. The other is fear of fucking up my expensive legos like that guy who took apart his graphics card or CPU or something. Let me tell you a story:
>Be le me
>First generation PSP released, get one for Xmas
>UMDs (PSP games "cartridge"- disc in a plastic casing) activate my retardation
>Pry open the plastic, extract the little disc, insert disc only into PSP and attempt to play
>Eventually figure it out
Thank fuck it was only that little demo disc that came with the PSP (still worked when I re-inserted it back into the plastic casing). I thought it was some shop security thing. I'm less retarded now, but still.
I've never had the specs to even bother with this shit before but now I'm all pimped out.
What do you guys use to look at this stuff? Is it a third party program or a windows feature?
ok
>>318375745
Speccy
I built this a few months ago, and I'm already burnedout. I should have waited for the die shrink
She's temperamental as fuck but I wouldn't change her for the world.
I use to have a 560ti but I replaced it last year. Rate and hate? I wish I could easily upgrade my cpu.
Is my graphics cards good enough? How long will they last me?I know they are meme cards.I bought them a month before the whole 3.5 GB fiasco happened.
>>318368843
This whole thread is depressing to look at.
>>318372894
>Vista
>>318377296
>almost 8tb of anime storage
it's depressing all right
Planning to get a new monitor soon. Not sure which one is good though
