Probably not at full price. There are only yangus and jessica from DQ8 so your enjoyment in regards to fanservice are limited (as far as I know).
Regardless it's a musou game and not particularly special in any way.

If you're not into DQ or Musou, then there's really no reason you'd enjoy it.

I'm a huge DQ and Dynasty Warriors fan, so I'm going to be playing this as soon as my copy arrives. Even so, I may end up disliking it.

TL;DR - Games are always a crapshoot, but you kinda answered your own question by not being big on either series.

It's 40 bux on Amazon right now. I Gamefly'd it and it seems pretty fun so far. I haven't played much DQ or Musou though. Move sets seem kind of limited but I'm only a couple hours in so maybe more unlocks later.

It plays slightly different than your normal Musou game. Instead of big open maps it's more condense and plays more like a tower defense game. Not really bad just that don't go at it thinking it's just your normal Musou game. As for DQ fanservice there's a good bit of it for everyone even DQ8 with Yangus and Jessica which is nice.
