It looks slightly worse but it's more stable and it generally runs more smoothly, if we're talking about graphics.
When it comes to gameplay, the microtransactions feel less forced and the carriage stuff is fun.
I'm glad I got it with my 980 (it runs at around 60 FPS if I turn down the AA a bit from max), but I wouldn't drop $60 for it.
