Also, Hell's Highway improves the weapon mechanics quite a bit. You can kill enemies in the other two games, however you're more meant to be using your squads as the main force, not a one man army.

Pretty good game op. just study the map and use your squad effectively and you'll be fine.

HH is inferior for sure, but it aint dog shit.
The way health worked was not good. Turned it into an even bigger waiting game, because now you have to wait for both suppression and health. Also, really dumb that it forces you to use the cover system. You could be physically behind cover but not 'in'cover and die.
Guns being accurate are also a problem. Why move your squad into a good position when you can just line up your crosshairs from cover?
These problems work together to make authentic especially annoying and boring. Since you die so fast it's sometimes not feasable to move into better cover, so your only choice is to sit in cover. And since you don't get crosshairs you just have to hope the enemies will get hit when you shoot, because you can't risk being 'out' of cover because you'll die anyway.
Authentic isn't hard, just made a bit less fun than the other two games.

What I meant is that first two levels are fucking gorgeous. Nature, green color and its variations, everything looks fucking amazing.
Then level 3 or whatever hits and you are playing your late 2000s generic brown and bloom shooter.

Yeah, replaying it and I don't quite like the red screen shit. I like the improves combat though. Yeah, it makes you more powerful, but god damn did I have some moments in the other two games where the hit detection fucked me over. That gore too.
I hope they continue the series, I know Gearbox said they want to. They cancelled Furious 4 after fans shit on it hard. I didn't really have anything against that game, it just shouldn't have been using the Brother's in Arms name.
