playing skyrim, can someone explain the point of legendary skills? from what i've read, sure you can get beyond maxlvl 81 but right now, if i would make sneak legendary it would go from 100 to 15 and become other dogshit, making my rogue type argonian useless, so what's the appeal?

I play mostly Attorney Online, a multiplayer version of Ace Attorney where each player assumes one role (defense attorney, prosecutor, judge, witness, etc) in a trial with pre-established witnesses and testimony. Pretty fun, I play that almost every day since 2013 or so. It's a shame that the game is dying, there's like less than 150 active players nowadays.
I also bought Ys: The Oath in something. It's my first attempt into the Ys series and also my first attempt into a JRPG, I played for two hours and it's pretty good. Also bought Euro Truck Simulator 2 but ragequit after I missed a curve and ended up unable to find a return within 100km.
I still have $40 left to spend with games in this sale. Not sure what I'm going to buy. I've been considering XCOM, but I hate turn based games and I am 90% sure that I will never play that one.

I'm still learning. You can start by just Googling "teach yourself Japanese" or whatever and reading whatever basic tutorials pop up to give yourself a very basic idea of the grammar of the language, Tae Kim's Guide to Japanese is a good one. There's also a three volume set called A Dictionary of Japanese Grammar that's really thorough that you can look at.
Once you have a basic understanding of grammar (you won't master it, you just need to not be completely lost) you can start filling out your vocabulary by reading/listening to Japanese material. Childrens' games like Pokemon are great, so are manga that have furigana so you don't have to read kanji; people often recommend Yotsuba. Making flash cards of new words you encounter with Anki is helpful, but I've been lazy with that. There's a helpful community at /r/learnjapanese if you get stuck.
I stop pretty much every sentence to look up words while I'm playing Pokemon, but I hope it'll be worth it.

I'm right in between games. I just finished Virtue's Last Reward and plan to move on to either Dragon Quest V or Yumi's Odd Odyssey
Mount and Blade, trying to settle my own kingdom this time and wondering how the hell AI spawns 600+ armies out of nowhere or why Harlus is perfectly fine with war against both Vaegirs and Nords, while every single village on the north part is constantly raided and I cant even gather people to form garrison in Khudan.
While running between Curaw and Khudan, defending it from 300-600 troops armies of Nords/Vaegirs, while Harlus holds feasts in Praven and Marshall leads whole Swadian army to loot some remote villages.
Good that at least I have 30 int and, with bonuses, 12-14 Surgery and Wound Treatment.
