Have you ever pledged/funded for a videogame?
>>318264018
No, I almost backed Bloodstained to get a physical copy, but ultimately decided against it.
I've only given money to a kickstarter once, and it wasn't vidya.
>>318264018
I only funded something once on Kickstarter, expecting to get fucked going into it
And of course I got fucked, although not as hard as I expected
Anita's tropes vs women - $170
Shenmue 3 - $75
Bloodstained - $30
Torment tirdes of numenera - $20
Pillars of eternity - $20
Mighty no 9 - $200
wasteland 2 - $30

>No, I almost backed Bloodstained to get a physical copy, but ultimately decided against it.
Happened the same to me. Almost back Bloodstained. Otherwise, I've never backed anything because I ain't gonna pay for a game before I even know what the hell they're going to do with it and may turn into complete shit. Like MN9.
>>318264415
Nigga...
>>318264608
I don't regret any of the games.. just Anita.
No, I don't see the appeal of paying for thin air and promises.
>>318264579
>Like MN9.
MN9 was the first Kickstarter game I really followed, and boy did I get to see a shitshow and a half.
Kickstarter is fine, and all, but I don't think I'll ever back anything vidya related.
>>318264705
C'mon son, how do you regret that?
You're bound to have known what you were getting into from the get-go.
Not yet. I'd give money toward the next Shadowrun and Indivisible had I the means. But as it stands I'd rather have a roof over my head than that.
>>318264814
I was dating a feminist and she manipulated me into social justice and feminist stuff before breaking up with me and stealing half of my property
>>318264140
IBacked enough to get a weapon added to the game because I had literally nothing better to do with the money.
>>318264415
Nice bait.
>>318264018
No, because I'm poor. I would have backed LISA had I known about it before it released.
>>318264814
MN9 was a complete trainwreck. The thing is, the beta artwork looked really cool. Too bad the final product is complete shit.
>>318264924
>before breaking up with me and stealing half of my property
Ya know, I could go with
>lol dating a feminist, you deserved it
But I'm genuinely sorry for you anon.
>>318264018
0$
I'm not stupid.
I preordered Disgaea 4.
>>318264018
Rias a SHIIIIIIIIIIIIT
I gave $20 to Yooka Laylee. No ragrats.
Pillars of Eternity. It was OK.
I backed Torment too and it will also probably not live up to the game it's homaging.
$150 to Bloodstained, I wasn't going to give so much but when I saw that the artbook was going to be changed to hardcover I decided to get it.
$20 for Yooka Laylee out of curiosity more than anything and $25 for Div:OS 2 because I loved the first one and trust Larian to not fuck up.
>>318264018
Yeah, I money'd Kerbal Space Program.
card got declined for wasteland 2 and they wanted me to use another one so I didn't bother
dodged a bullet there
>>318268175
I love that Mexican indie game
Nope. No point to it. There's enough autists that will fund shit for me.
>>318264018
Oh man, I would fund the shit out of a localized/subbed game of DxD
No, never. Kickstarter mostly creates shit games though so I don't really regret not backing anything. Inb4 some anon wants me to look at outliers and tells me that this one game out of hundreds is good and was funded by crowdfunding.
Yes, I funded a person to make good videosshe's a female
This is what I got
https://youtu.be/UKb0ZPz2-xk
>STILL no good DxD game
I backed a bunch of games.
Don't regret:
>The Banner Saga
>Darkest Dungeon
>Dead State
>Divinity OS
>Divinity OS 2
>Expeditions: Conquistador
>Grim Dawn
>FTL: Faster Than Light
>The Mandate
>Massive Chalice
>Pillars of Eternity
>StarCrawlers
>Tides of Numenera
>Wasteland 2
Do regret:
>Castle Story
>Clang
>Jagged Alliance Flashback
>Planetary Annihilation
>Project Phoenix
>Unsung Story
$50 each on the Shadowrun games
$100 on Defense Grid 2
$150 on Satellite Reign
It's all worked out pretty well for me.
>>318268959
Satellite Reign felt like a bit of a disappointment to me.
It's not that it's a bad game, it's just that there's not really anything interesting to do.
>>318269082
The tougher your guys get the less interesting the whole thing becomes.
I've had way more fun replaying the first couple of districts and running with what I get than I did actually finishing the thing. I've still put ~70 hours into it though.
I really hope they decide to support it and flesh it out more.
>>318264415
Seek help.
>>318264964
What do you mean 'nothing better to do'? You could have changed someone's life.
I backed knock-knock, procet scissors new game and cornerstone.
Mediocre successes.
HIGH TEST
$164 on Skullgirls. They were pretty late with merch and shit, still haven't been sent the OST CD, otherwise? Pretty pleased, I got the goods sooner or later and the game turned out great.
>>318271698
Fund indivisible
>>318264018
Fuck you that's not even a good rias cosplay kill you're self
>>318268795
why would you fund a person to make good videos. People do that without being paid a penny.
>>318271850
Indivisible? More like INVISIBLE
