Also considering getting EDF 4.1. Is there a difference? Whatever happened to EDF 3?

EDF 2 and 4.1 are different games entirely.
EDF 4.1 is EDF 2025 with more content and better framerate
EDF 2 for vita is the first time EDF 2 has ever come to the west.
