If you hopped into the Animus, what would your most interesting ancestor be?
>>
>>318240320
Probs vikings.
>>
>>318240320
Some German soldier
>>
I have Anglo-Germanic ancestry so probably dozens of interesting ancestors to choose from.
>>
>>318240320
i'm actually related to a pretty famous outlaw that has his own Wikipedia page but it would reveal my identity
>>
I'm Irish, Norwegian, with a hint of nigger. I think some Native American too. Possibly German.
>>
Probably some mayan dude, or a spaniard.
>>

>but it would reveal my identity

We don't care who you or your gay ancestor are. You massive faggot.

>>>/reddit/
>>
>>318241147
i'm also related to people who fought in the civil war and we have all of their journals and letters preserved, they are worth a fortune but the family member who owns them won't let me get them published as a book

really interesting characters too, one guy was a judge before war time so everybody just calls him "the judge" in their letters, he's super religious and has the whole lawful paladin/judge dredd thing going on, only in the American civil war
>>
>>318240320
battle of hastings
william shakespeare
>>
>>318240320

Genghis Khan.

i'm not even sure if i'm related to him, just going to guess
>>
I actually know a lot about my family history.

I'm related to the least successful president of the united states. One side of my family tried to save the indians, the others killed them. Technically I am in line to Portuguese nobility if we still had it. I have two royal executioners in my family, and three serial killers. Also a FUCK TON of hillbillies.
>>
>implying all of my ancestors weren't mud farmers or some shit
>>
>>318240320
My mom's a genealogist, so I know who my ancestors are back for a few hundred years. Apparently, I had an ancestor from England who was known as "The Black Knight".

I can only hope that my Polish Jew great-grandfather had ties to a Polish soldier.

My great great grandfather was in the Civil War. That's about the coolest thing I know of.

My great grandfather was at little big horn. I like to think he was maybe the one that put the arrow in Custer.

>>

I remember my relatives blabbing about some relative from 300 ish years ago that killed indians and married a natives chieftain daughter, so possibly that. Possibly sam walton since i'm supposed to be his 3rd cousin or something not really important.

Failing those actually being interesting or real, probably some viking. I got dem beard growing genes.

by christian you mean gnostic.

gnosticis have a similar doctrine to christians except god the father is replaced by the 'demiurge' who's actually satan.

of course 99% of what you'll find on the internet is garbage, hence why masons are hated so much, but the root of their doctrines isn't sound, and is technically heresy.

Um, besides a random Australian soldier in WW2 who would set up horse races on his down time which ended up spreading all through Allied camps in the Pacific theatre, I'm also related to a pair of German brothers who frequently got up to mischief stowing away on random cargo ships just for the sake of travelling (one of these boats sunk and they almost died) before eventually just grabbing their wives and like 15 kids they had between them and fucking off to another country to start new lives.

I believe an earlier ancestor in that line changed their surname since it's not German (it's just the name of a Greek god) and we are literally the only family in recorded history to have it. Makes it really easy to research. There's actually a book about those two brothers and their extended family. I'm in it.

But no, nobody interesting enough to want to experience in an Animus.

Well, the only justifications for slavery were that the practice was older than the Union and that people liked having slaves for financial reasons. The philosophy behind the founding of the Union was completely incompatible with it and regarded all men as having natural rights. There is no way to reconcile this whatsoever, slavery was going to be ended legally eventually.

Isn´t it funny how no one ever says that their ancestors were bourgeois or peasants despite the amount of total royals in the world?

4chan must be a really influential site given the number of famous people we have here.

I mean math majors who happen to be the distant relatives of great crusaders, what a privilege it is to post here, G00k should charge, giving this service away for free to such distinguished crowd, he could easily charge a $5,000 the annual subscription.

You retard. Nobles frequently had more children who would survive long enough to have their own heirs. It's actually more likely than not that (European) people would have an ennobled ancestor.

My dad likes to tell a story about some guy named Johann Bekker who is apparently my ancestor. He apparently fought for Austria against the French in the early 1800s, and was captured and pressed into service in the french army. He managed to escape to Britain and changed his name to John Baker. He fought with the British against the French in the Battle of Waterloo and was rewarded for his services with a small island in eastern Canada (not in the sea, in the middle of a huge river). The story goes that he lost that island to a Methodist minister in a game of cards, whose family has owned it ever since. It's still called Minister's Island to this day and it's close to where I live. Of course my dad also just makes shit up sometimes so who knows if there's any truth to the story.
