Name one reason Metal Gear Solid as a series is better than Splinter Cell
Because at most, MGS had 2 legitimately bad titles, and even then those 2 are only subjectively bad.
Splinter Cell, on the other hand, has had more bad than good titles, plus the bad titles were objectively bad.
For someone who never played splinter cell, which games are worth playing, held to a modern standard?

pandora tomorrow and chaos theory
>>318231958
Chaos Theory is the best one by a wide margin, Pandora Tomorrow is pretty good, OG Xbox version of Double Agent was good (but the PC/7th gen ports were shit), first game was good for its time but hasn't held up as well, Conviction was shit, and Blacklist was adequate.

Conviction is a comfy stealth-action game and a good example of how an art game SHOULD be.
Chaos Theory is a very good stealth game.
Blacklist is ass.

Except for the most recent and popular entries, of course.

I guess I'll download chaos theory then. I think I might have it from an earlier humble bundle.

Because only Chaos Theory and the old ass version of Double Agent were good.
The rest of the Splinter Cell series is terrible.

First one was good.

I need to amend this statement:
Pandora Tomorrow's multiplayer was the greatest.

Don't listen to >>318232136, Conviction was shit. It casualized the series about as hard as physically possible, to the point that Blacklist was an improvement.

Well, Metal Gear Solid has more gameplay variety. No Metal Gear game feels like any other.
I fucking love Splinter Cell. Chaos Theory is my favorite stealth game of all time. But MGS definitely has more interesting changes, whereas the format to Splinter Cell games are mostly the same, with only Conviction really changing things up.
