It works better than most people think. It just doesn't work with CPU-heavy games like GTA V or Assassin's Shit Unity, but those are pretty rare. May it be Battlefield, Saints Row, a Bethesda game (they're all the same engine-side), Crysis: you WILL be able to handle them 60fps with a High preset.

Most normal people have a $300 laptop which they use on their beds, for work, to take to college or to watch netflix with other normalfags.
There also the stigma about putting together a computer being harder than working at NASA. Even one of my colleagues, an electric engineer, prefers buying a preassembled HP rather than picking out parts and putting part A into slot A.
